Whether you’re staying for a weekend or all season, planning your trip to Wading Pines can be broken into three simple steps: choose how you want to stay, pick your dates and site type, and check a few key details like policies and directions.

Rates & Reservations
- RV sites – nightly rates, with some monthly and seasonal options
- Rustic cabins – nightly rates
- Tent sites – nightly rates

Children 11 and under camp free at RV and tent sites; some restrictions apply. See individual pages for details.
Seasonal RV Sites require direct office booking.
Camping Season & Availability
Wading Pines Camping Resort is a seasonal campground, typically open from early spring through late fall. For the 2026 season, we plan to open on April 1 and close November 1.

A personal vehicle is strongly recommended. Public transportation options are extremely limited in the Pine Barrens.
Key Rules & Campground Policies
To keep Wading Pines safe, peaceful, and enjoyable for everyone, we follow a clear set of campground rules and policies. We recommend reviewing them before your stay so you know what to expect and how to be a good neighbor under the pines.

- Quiet hours: 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. (no visitors after 11:00 p.m.).
- Speed limit: 5 mph throughout the park, including golf carts and e-bikes.
- Each reservation includes 2 adults and 2 children (under age 11), max 6 people. (plus specific occupancy rules on RV & cabin pages).
- Pets must be leashed and cleaned up after; off-leash pets (outside dog park) may result in eviction.
- Generators and space heaters are prohibited.
- No firearms or fireworks permitted in the campground.
- No smoking in cabins or any buildings.
- Children must be on their site by 10:00 p.m.
What to Pack & What to Expect
Packing for a Pine Barrens camping trip is a little different than packing for a hotel stay. Here are a few essentials and expectations to help you arrive prepared.
What to Bring
- Weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes for woods and trails
- Flashlights or lanterns for walking around at night
- Bug spray, sunscreen, and reusable water bottles
- Camp chairs for your site and campfire
- Firewood or fire starter (where permitted; follow local rules)
- Linens, pillows, and towels for cabin stays (cabins do not include linens)

What parking is available?
Each site allows one camping unit and no more than 2 cars. If the cars don’t fit, there is guest parking throughout the park.
