CANOEING & KAYAK TRIPS

Take a trip down the scenic Wading River, and enjoy paddle sports at their best! Come and enjoy a gentle, calm water float trip! Wading Pines offers canoeing, kayaking for all ages and skill levels. Bring a cooler and picnic lunch along, then stop and enjoy the scenery on your trip … or stop for a swim on hot days. Enjoy safe and exciting family fun! (Management recommends children be 5 years and older to participate in river activities.) We supply the canoes, kayaks, paddles, lifejackets and transportation.

Times are approximate and vary with water flow and paddling experience. Experience boating on the Wading River from Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend.

Depart from Wading Pines beach and paddle downstream to the landing at Evans Bridge where our trucks will pick you up.

Wading Pines picks you up at your site in the campground and transports you and your equipment up river to the Hawkins Bridge launching area. You paddle down at your own pace and land at the Wading Pines Camping Resort beach.

Depart from the Wading Pines beach and paddle downstream thru the Wharton State Forest to the Beaver Branch landing where our trucks and personnel will be there to greet you and transport you back to Wading Pines.

The Wading River is owned and administered by the State of New Jersey, Department of Environmental Services, State Parks, Forests & Historic Sites, State Park Service.
